Dwight School, renowned for its academically rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, with campuses around the globe, will open its first Middle East school in Dubai, in September 2018. Founded in 1872, Dwight is proud to be recognized by the IB Organization as a world leader in international education.

Personalized learning is the hallmark of a Dwight education through which the school is recognized for igniting the spark of genius in every child. A unique Dwight feature is Quest, a learning support program designed over the past 25 years to bring Dwight’s promise of personalized learning to life for students with specific academic needs to promote their success.

In order to truly prepare students for a future in a highly competitive global market where new jobs will have to be invented, as well as providing another avenue for igniting a spark of genius Dwight has created Spark Tank a program in which students can pursue their own passions and learn about the product or business development process — from the germ of an idea to acceleration, and from prototyping to market launch. Students present their ideas to a committee drawn among talented parents, teachers and industry professionals who provide feedback, advice, mentorships, and help them to reach different levels of accomplishment within the incubator.

Dwight Schools have an outstanding reputation with students graduating to top universities globally, including; Harvard, New York University, Vasser, Cornell, McGill, Waseda University, Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne, and St. Andrews. Dwight also boasts an Alumni of the “who’s who” of notable figures from politics, the Performing Arts, business, sports and the Sciences worldwide including: John Williams, Truman Capote, Vin Diesel, Michael Mansfield QC and Ray Davies CBE.

“We are delighted to welcome Dwight School to Dubai and increase the offering of IB curriculum to the emirate.”

Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of KHDA

“With a solid foundation of proven results from implementing our educational methods at Dwight campuses around the globe, we are highly committed and strongly motivated to developing and delivering the best and most innovative International Baccalaureate school in the Middle East.”
